March 2026: Locked In Academically

March Hrs: 0 Total Hrs: 66 Regarding community survival, once again, I didn't complete any hours. Like last month, the program kept me busy. Honestly, the material that we did has kept me engaged, and it was interesting to learn. Before the end of the program, I want to return to Manning Family Children’s to complete more volunteer hours. As much as I enjoy learning about medicines that are used to treat Parkinson’s, migraines, depression, and schizophrenia, I want to get back and continue helping patients. Thankfully, this coming month has a lighter workload for the program, and I get to focus more on the MCAT and my upcoming application for medical school. But first, let's recap March: In the Neurology module, I learned about the treatment of major neurological diseases, such as Parkinson’s, Anesthesia, Stroke, and Opioids.
